Changes of the Project Structure

Announcements

• Announce any changes on the structure of the public available resources (e.g. SVN repositories)
  • The announcement should be made prior to the change

• Whenever possible, the public visible location should not be changed
  • If the location is to be changed (e.g. moving to an archive location)
  • Announce it publically with a clearly stated date (minimum 14 days)

Archiving

• Deprecated resources and unmaintained code (e.g. no developer available)

should be brought into a stable state.

should contain a clearly visible "!!!WARNING!!!.TXT" file, describing status and deficits
