• Simple creation of documents from a single source

There is a possibility that a conventional wiki cannot fulfill the requirements.

Requirements

Markup

• can use different Project Text Markup
• simplified way to add own markups (e.g. pointers to Issues)
• ability to hide edit-links for non-authorized users (visitors)
• search ability

Design

• design via CSS
  • possibly per project selectable
• allows different styles per page or subsection (project etc.)

Functional

• allows hierachical creation of documents
• can use a WYSIWYG Editor
• allows construction of websites, with automated navigations
• allows local copy off-line edit with later upload / synch

Workflow

• notification of change (e.g. via email)
  • contains a clear-text difference report
  • subscritpion to whole content, subsections or single page
• comments
  • internal (non-public) or external (public) comments

Hierarchy

• pages reside within one root
• hierarchy is build and display based on parent tags
  • (allows highly flexible restrusturing)
